I see Cisco Press has come out with "CCNA: Practical Studies, Revision7" just this past week. Does anyone have any comments about previous revisions they can share? Is the material a duplicate of the ICND1&ICND2 study guide or is it actual lab exercise material?

Unfortunately, I only see the CCNA Preparation Library, 7th Edition on the Cisco Press website.... no hint of a new Practical Studies book
The old CCNA Practical Studies book is probably still useful if you can tune out the Token Ring and ignore the IPX and ISDN, and other obsolete topics.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set! -

Once it's been out for a while it may be interesting to read the reviews on Amazon and see if Cisco Press finally has a valid 2nd study option. Usually Odom's library and Todd's Sybex book are the 2 we usually recommend here.
From the CCNA Forum FAQOdom Certification Library AND Todd's Sybex book (6th Edition)
The Wendell Odom Cisco Press CCNA Official Exam Certification Library (CCNA Exam 640-802), 3rd Edition and Todd Lammle's CCNA: Cisco Certified Network Associate Study Guide: Exam 640-802, 6th Edition are the books most recommended by TechExams.Net members.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set!
