I think it has the highest passing % of all the CompTIA certifications.
Also, keep in mind that the exam is being updated this fall. -

Try not to get any wrong
Anyway I think I figured this out once.... I seems to me if you assumed that each question was graded the same. Then each question would be worth 8 points. I think that means the most you could miss would be 18 questions. -
undomiel Member Posts: 2,818You don't want to know the question average, trust me on this one. It caused high anxiety and nervousness for me the day of the exam to know it. But then again the numbers aren't even accurate because it seems to be that the questions are weighted differently so you can't really figure an exact number. I don't think that's entirely accurate though, since the lowest score is 100, not 0.
If you take 100 off of each (since you apparently get that just for paying), you'll need to get 664/800, which is about 83%. That's a little better.
I don't think the questions are weighted since they are basic multiple choice questions. However, they sometimes include ungraded questions, and who knows how those are factored into the equation.
Just don't get anything wrong, and you'll have nothing to worry about. No big deal. -

rickfray Member Posts: 6 ■□□□□□□□□□The min score is 764 (scale 100-900). That means you need to get about 85-90% of the questions right.Rick Fray, Security+

The questions are very technical. All about network security and how you go about protecting the netowrk from unwanted intrusion. -

The best source for these exams is to visit the CompTIA website for the exams details, like for the passing score you'll find it here bro and the exam code is SY0-201...
