If you're looking for a quality unit or solution, check out tandberg and polycom. We use tandberg for tele-medicine and polycom for internal corp communication.

Tandberg has some really slick expressway technologies in their border controllers so that you don't have to tweak your, or anyone else's firewall to make IP calls.
