just came out from the testing center and i passed the CCENT with a 896. The exam is not that hard. I used the CBT Nuggets and the router sim software to create a virtual lab. There was just about 60 questions and plenty of time to do it in one you know what u about. I watched the CBT nuggets twice to make sure it stuck. Now onto the ICND 2. What are you'll views on the part 2 exam?

Good luck to those who plan to sit this exam.

    Congratulations! icon_thumright.gif

You'll be hitting more advanced topics in ICND2 that build upon the base of what you learned in ICND1 -- so expect to have to kick up your studying a notch for ICND2.

The difference between ICND1 and ICND2 isn't as great as the difference between the old INTRO and ICND exams -- but people still seem to "get surprised" by the ICND2 exam -- so try not to be one of them. :D

    Congrats Icem@n!!!!

I'm still plugging along and hope to sit in another 2 months. Which software did you use for the router sim (boson's, lammle's, packet tracer, etc)?

    Thanks!

just make sure that u have subnetting down to a T cause most of it contains subnetting. Some actual configs, a few troubleshooting, CDP. Thats the majority but just make sure and take ur time and read the questions more than once if u unsure wat the question is asking, it can be very tricky.
