I just wanted to find out, what type of cisco switch would you guys recommend that I get to use for studying CCNA and also toward CCNP, the last switch that I got was a 2948 G which was a CAT OS , I also wanted to use this switch not only for my lab, but also for my server/client boxes...
Thanks in advance!!!

Slowhand Mod Posts: 5,161 ModThe best bang for your buck's going to be Catalyst 2950 switches, which will do everything (and then some) you need for the CCNA exam. If you're really looking to get a leg-up on CCNP, take a peek around and see if you can afford to pick up a 3550. 12, 24, or 48 ports won't really matter for lab-purposes, so get whatever switch you can for the best price you find.

Does this support IPv6...
