70-649 - Passed

in MCTS / MCITP on Windows 2008 General
So just got back from sitting the 70-649 exam....It was 55 questions split into the 3 sections (App, AD & Net). Each section had about 25 mins to complete it.

I was a little surprised about the differculty level of this exam ( for a couple of questions the answer stuck out), but hey its new and im sure MS will tweak it throughout its life

Been prepping for this exam for the last 3-4 weeks, installed Win2k8 - had a play and configured stuff and learnt the server core commands.
I also used the MSPress Book "Windows Server 2008 insideout" this was useful however it had NO IIS7 stuff in it, so used the web for IIS help/guidance

oh yeah and i scored a 970 :D

    No Sims on the exam, maybe MS will add some in the future - i was a little surprised as well, thought there might have been at least one

    Very cool. I'm headed the same path, myself, once I've gotten off my butt and finished up my remaining MCSE exams. Congrats on the pass, and good luck on whichever PRO exam you decide to sit for.

    Thanks for the resources. My test is coming up soon and I was totally unaware of the IIS 7 labs. I've heard IIS 7 was pretty highly tested.
