I am sure you guys get tired of these questions, but here is another Home Lab Question.

I am currently working towards my CCNP and CCSP. So I am considering building the following Lab environment

CCNA Stuff
(1) 2950
(1) 2950G
(1) 2924XL-En
(2) 2516 w/12.3

CCNP/CCSP
(1) PIX501
(1) 1811
(1) 3550
(1) 2509/2511 Terminal Server
I think by going this route, I should have everything I need. What do you think of this plan?

Not a bad start. You might want to add a router to use as a frame relay switch.

Most of the 2500's give you two serial ports. A 2520 is even better as you get four. Another alternative is a 2600 with the NM-4A/S module.

Down the road, you might also want some better routers in general.

What about adding a 3640 router w/ 12.4 to the mix for the ccna and dropping a 2516
Probably need a modue like a NM-4A/S and possibly a W1C

I purchased the 2924 for $15
and the 3640's with freight and 4 modules was like $610
