Unable to logon the netlogon service is not running.
I get this error message on a NT 4.0 Workstation that is setup for a workgroup, NOT a domain.
I have reset the admin password and still can not login. This is of course because the netlogon service is not running. Any ideas?
I have a ghosted copy.
I basically wrote it off as a loss and I went ahead and reinstalled windows NT on a new drive and I am reloading all the applications, drivers, etc... It's gonna take me atleast 4-8hrs to reload all the applications. I would prefer to fix the old drive if possible.

Has anyone personally run into this problem before?
I have seen quite a few things in my time but this is a first one for me.
