how to disable Windows Firewall

hi sorry for the new question.

Just wondering how do I disable my windows firewall???

i have windows xp profession SP1

    You do not have it. It was released with SP2. You do have ICF (Internet connection firewall) but that is disabled by default.

    Right click "My Network Places"
    Right click the connection that you want to disable the firewall (Local Area Network or whatever) and select Properties.
    Go to the Advanced Tab, and you'll see it there.

    As cacharo said though it is disabled by default, but you may have turned it on at some point.
    Also, you REALLY need to upgrade to SP2.
    All things are possible, only believe.

    right click your network connectivity icon on taskbar

    change firewall settings---->off

    thats it
