in CCNA & CCENT
Since its been a while since I took a cisco exam (4 years since I passed the dreaded 640-801, and 3 1/2 years since the BSCI) I took the 640-822 this morning and passed with a 1000/1000. I have to admit this was a fun entry level exam and it was taken more out of enjoyment than necessity.
The materials used were: Cisco Press ICND1 text (love Wendell Odoms material) and the following gear left over from the previous lab...
3 x 2501
2 x 1720 w/ WIC-1T
2 x 3550-24-SMI (borrowed from work)
Lots of cables and AUI Adapters.
I may take the ICND2 exam followed by BCMSN and CCDA (in that order) but first I will be attending the ITIL Practitioner: IPRC as required by work.
Good luck to everyone attempting the ICND1/ICND2/CCNA!

So does that completly renew your CCNA qualification?
So what next? are you going to hit the pro level exams? -
down77 Member Posts: 1,009I would still have to take the ICND2 (640-816) or CCNA (640-802) before going for the CCNP level exams. Unfortunately I had switched jobs a few years back and my focus went from Network centric to System Engineering. The biggest benefit right now (for me) is to ensure I don't lose the skills since I haven't touched a router/switch at work for some time... just in the home lab! My goal is to complete the BCMSN and CCDA by end of year, but that depends on my personal life and work schedule.CCIE Sec: Starting Nov 11

If all goes well (read: purchasing @ work cuts the PO) I will be taking it at the ITSM Academy in Ft. Lauderdale. I'm actually looking forward to the hands on approach that the Practitioner level brings.CCIE Sec: Starting Nov 11
