CCENT/CCNA ICND1 Official Exam Certification Guide, 2nd Edition (Hardcover)
by Wendell Odom (Author)
I only found the 2007 edition on Amazon.com the 2008 is only available on that Kindle thingy.. -

You may want to take a look at this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Official-Certification-Library-640-802-Guide/dp/1587201836/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1207248218&sr=8-1
It has both ICND1 and 2 books.
"CENT/CCNA ICND1 Official Exam Certification Guide, Second Edition, and CCNA ICND2 Official Exam Certification Guide, Second Edition"
What is funny is that both books are in their 2nd edition but this reference library is the third edition lol.
Hope this helps.

AlexMR Member Posts: 275The official course is Interconnecting Cisco Devices. Even when the Wendell Odom book is very good and very respected here in Techexams, i think the specific "Interconnecting Cisco Network devices 1" is better. I havent finished the ICND1 book yet, but having read and compared both books NAT, ACLs, IPv6 chapters I can tell you ICND1 offers more in depth information and, above all, should be a much better exam preparation because it has A LOT, and I mean A LOT of review questions, something that shines by its absence in the exam certification guide By Wendell Odom.
Edit: I was going to give the link and forgot. Here: http://www.amazon.com/Interconnecting-Cisco-Network-Devices-ICND1/dp/1587054620/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1207431323&sr=1-1Training/Studying for....CCNP (BSCI) and some MS. -
