I guess my mind just works differently then -- minimizing/maximizing windows and navigating with Alt+Tab has always been enough for me :)

The amount of productivity acheived from running duel screens is rather impressive.

Being able to look at reference material on 1 screen and address the problem on the other without doing the alt/tab and min/max makes things go aloth faster.

Speaking of which, I wouldn't mind a second monitor. I do a lot of blogging about labs I do and would love to be able to not have to switch between browser and VMware all the time. I wish I had the money for a second monitor right now. All my money is going towards mortgage, car payment, furnishing my house, and debt reduction. Anybody want to buy me a monitor?

Something that has always baffled me is this -- why do people need multiple monitors like that for home use?

Trust me, once you have it, you never go back.

I've told even casual users when they replace their old computers to hook up their old CRT in addition to their new LCD, and let me know after a week how it goes.

Without fail, every single one of them either keep the CRT hooked up until they can afford another LCD, or immediately buy an LCD for a second monitor. It's one of the most handy things you've gotten for your computer in a long long time.

I'm seriously contemplating popping in another graphics card and buying a third monitor. Heck, four monitors doesn't seem outlandish to me quite honestly.
    Good luck to all!

    Like my room color? :P

I did try the multi-monitor setup when I first moved in to my place but I didn't care for the image quality that I got from my DVI to VGA converter that I had to use on my video card. Not to mention I don't care for CRTs taking up a lot more power then LCDs.

I have another pc hooked up to the CRT right now which happens to be off screen.

I also wish I got another VX2025WM when I had the chance, I love this monitor and they don't make to many non TN LCD displays anymore. <3 my viewsonic LCD

Also those rags at the bottom are just microfiber cloths used for dusting and stuff.
