um i tried to login to get my certification since thursday and there site is messed up it says internal server error

this is where you are supposed to go

www.cisco.com/go/certifications/login

and i tried making an account but it keeps logging me out saying the system is messed up so i cant send a ticket unless i am logged in. Also there number is a 1-800 number so i believe that means i will be charged if I call them right ? I dont want to pay to talk to someone does anyone have a non 1-800 and when I try go go to www.cisco.com/go/certsupport it makes me create another account but no matter what account email address i enter in it says "invalid email address" , they have another 408 number but thats for ordering and stuff.

Funny.. i just got on the forums to ask if anyone is having trouble getting on the cert track web page. I've been having problems all day too.

    I'm getting somthing like this:
    type: Exception report

    message:

description: The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request.

    exception:
Oh well! I guess I'll check again later, unless someone knows what's going on icon_scratch.gif

By the way, congrats on the passs, pooker!

I tried earlier and just now and have had no problem getting in with my exiting Cisco ID and password.

The 1-800 number should be a toll-free (no charge) number.

Give them a few hours Monday morning to sort through any weekend issues they had and then try again.

And if you're trying to create your account using the information from your score sheet, I think they say it could take 10 days (but it never has in the past).

Have you gotten an email from Cisco about passing your exam yet? That lets you know Cisco has your exam information and created a Cisco ID for you -- and used to duplicate the login information on your score report for the Certification Manager website. It also tells you to verify your information and mailing address for your Certificate. In the past you used to be able to log in long before Cisco sent the email...

Make sure you check your spam folder if you've never gotten Cisco emails before :D

How do they ship the certification??

Do they use regular mail or a private carrier like FedEx??

I ask this because the mail here in my country is awful and generally takes more than a month to deliver something. I am going to buy my voucher for a couple weeks and if they send the certificate through regular mail i am going to change my address to one inside the USA.

It's hard to tell with the "new guys" running (and breaking) the Cisco Certification Tracking/Management Web Site. icon_lol.gif

Before, in the old system, you'd log in to verify your address and request a Paper (default) or PDF electronic version of your Certificate. The First One was FREE, and they mailed it to you (anywhere in the world) from one location in the US. I think they said to allow for 8 to 10 weeks, but I usually got mine within 2-4 weeks.

Then you could order, for a fee, up to 2 additional copies -- either Paper or PDF.

Then the old site tossed in the DHL Delivery option.-- if you paid for DHL Shipping within 5 days of earning the Certification, you may have gotten bumped to the head of the queue and gotten your free copy of the paper certificate sooner (and safely in 1 piece :D ).

I don't have the option anymore on the "new site" to order copies of my certificates -- but they seem to have built/fixed the Certification Progress and Get Logos options finally. icon_rolleyes.gif
