I'm looking into using VOIP at home the phone I have at the moment is a siemens gigaset which can use VOIP.
I need it so that I can have multiple incoming calls at the same time because quite often i'm missing calls while i'm on the phone.
anyone syggest a service?

trixbox is good. It is essentially an asterisk/free pbx system. best of all it is free.
