Spend a little more time preparing for the OS test and covering a few extra study guides. It's better to spend the extra money on a variety of test material than on having to retake the exam.I am free of all prejudices. I hate everyone equally. -

Congrats on the pass!
I used the All-In-One A+ Exam Guide by Michael Meyers. If that's the one you have, then a good review all the way through and a lot of practice with the M$ OSs as you read should give you a pass on the OS exam.

methoselah Member Posts: 49 ■■□□□□□□□□being a cheapo, i used Myers A+:AIO 3rd edition and then used the Groth/Sybex book (2003) on CD from someone as well as the technotes from this site to fill in the gaps such as XP and wireless stuff the Myers 3rd Ed. didnt have.
The Grob book had a lot of pretty tables on everything which were very helpful, but often lacked depth in explanations. I would bounce between the two books to fully understand WTH is going on. However, while reading Myers, i sometimes wished he would hurry up and get to the fricking point.
I agree with practicing on the different OSs, especially setting up a network (with network printing) and playing around with the settings.
btw, congrats! good luck on OS.
