What mistake? Important stuff? -
CiscoCerts Member Posts: 112Yes it's important. Here's the link:

Under More Information click the errata link. Then another link will appear below for you to download the .doc It contains all the mistakes in the book. Every book has them so that's the advantage with going with a more seasoned book (or newer edition of that book) as it has been gone overy many times by many people. -
jscimeca715 Member Posts: 280I'm using the 2007 edition and it is covering all of the bases, go for it. I would get the exam certification library though, it's cheap on Amazon. That way you get ICND2 as well.

I'm a bit confused, what's the difference between the CCENT/CCNA ICND1 Official Exam Certification Guide and the Internetworking edition? -
jscimeca715 Member Posts: 280You might want to check the forum stickies for specific exam info but I'll try to explain here. There are two options to get CCNA. Take two tests (ICND1 and INCD2) and get CCNA. If you go this route you get CCENT after you pass ICND1. Or take the CCNA test and not worry about the two exam route. The exam ceritication library comes with two books to make it easier to divide the content up if you're taking two exams. If you get the ICND1 book by itself you won't have all the content you need to pass the one exam route.
