Hi Guys I am just a newbie, How should one go about building skils in BS 7799; ISO/IEC 27001 .... last post didnt satisfy my ans...could any one pls answer

Well we went over these standards in college but I'd say you could possibly find a local chapter of auditors and ask them...

The ISO/IEC 27000-series of standards is very important for information security. The standards ISO/IEC 27001 (formerly ISO/IEC 17799 and replacing BS 7799-2) and ISO/IEC 27002 are especially important, as they define how to maintain security of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). The structure and information of these standards also form the knowledge base for security certifications like the CISA and CISSP. In short, if you work in InfoSec, or are interested in advanced InfoSec certifications, you need become very familiar with the 27000-series.
