One down...
I took the BSCI this AM and got an 877. A bit of a disappointment, score-wise, but I won't beat myself up too bad.
Really disappointed on the IS-IS portion. I thought I had a firm grasp on that, but, alas, I guess I didn't ...
BGP was weak , too. I really, really thought I had a good understanding on BGP, but was once again proved wrong...
So many 70's I wonder HTF I even got an 877...
Anyway, I am going to take a bit and go back over those areas I didn't do so hot on before I dive into the ISCW material. Why the ISCW, as opposed to the BCMSN? Two reasons. One, I don't have access to the hardware I feel I need to bang away at that, and two is work. We are going to an MPLS solution so any info on that can't hurt, as I am newbile on that topic.
I do thank the board, as usual. Lots of good material to think about reading these posts. So many smart people here.
In case anyone is curious, I used the following study materials, which I began studying for late December after I got back from a successful CCNA boot camp. I must say I am prouder of this 877, studying myself, than the 1000 I received on the ICND2 at the camp. lol

Having the wife and kid quiz me constantly on topics from notecards was extremely beneficial. I highly suggest that.
Thanks again!

CCIEWANNABE Banned Posts: 465great job, i am going to take the bsci on may 13th. i have the gibill so i get reimbursed regardless on whether i pass or fail. so im not to worried about failing, as long as i pass before next january when my ccna runs out i'll be good. i am using all the material you did as well and i am also using cbt nuggets and trainsignal. i am going through the lab portfolio along with gns3 which is a great combination i think. there are alot of labs (33) which really help you to get a good grasp on why the protocols act the way they do. lets face it, hands on training is very important. good luck for everyone else taking the exam soon.

Slowhand Mod Posts: 5,161 ModCongrats on the pass. Sometimes the scores aren't to our liking, but as long as that big "CONGRATULATIONS" flashes across the screen, you know you're doing well. Good luck on the next exam.
