CCNA Labs on eBay. What do you think?

Some CCNA labs are available on eBay. They are a combination of the equipment one would want to practice with for the exam. For example:

What do you think about these labs. re they more expenive than what you would get if you bought each router or switch indiviually? What problems could there be? whats the catch?

ive found that when you buy prebuilt labs like that one that the price is always high. you could probably assembly that cheaper yourself from what ive seen anyway.

that is just one example from one of the first links i seen without looking too hard for 2 x 2500 for $30 inc shipping.

many prefer to use 2600 range and 2950's but ive heard you can get away with 2500's.

2501's are selling for $10 each all the time on ebay. A 2924 goes for $25.

So you have a lab worth $45 that a guy is asking $170 for. Then he wants $45 for shipping.

It's almost always better to buy the stuff piece by piece.

hmm for a beginner Cisco newb, what combination of routers and switches would you recommend which is quite flexible (meaning it can be used for studies beyond CCNA also) and has a great value for money?
