    Over console would take hours.

You should try to use tftp.

    copy flash:imagefilename.bin tftp:
There is no place like 127.0.0.1

Unfortunately, I can't download the IOS use tftp, because of the router is in MPLS VPN network.

The only chance is the console.

I've been able to do this with our CE's...

Use FTP. The router can connect remotely to any ftp server anywhere in your network (not denied by an ACL).

You can even use the console to initiate the ftp transfer, if you like.
There are only 10 kinds of people... those who understand binary, and those that don't.

Well. It'd be something like copy flash: xmodem: but again, use FTP/TFTP. Doing it via the serial console will take forever. The console by default is 9600 baud which will give you an awesome 1KB/s download. Why are you trying to do this anyway?

    Hello,

I have the next problem, when I try to download IOS with TFTP:

    - I start a tftp server on my PC
    - I enter the router over telnet
    - From the router I can’t ping my PC, only with the next extended command: ping vrf mav 10.4.104.39

Therefore, when I write the command copy flash: tftp: , and I give ip address of my PC (10.4.104.39), I get a error massage:

    Error opening tftp://10.4.104.39/c7600s3223-advipservicesk9-mz.122-33.SRB1.bin
    (Timed out)

    Hello,
You must stop your firewall on your pc, after it's ok
