Hi,
im practising password recovery a liitle and i have a 2610xm. according to cisco website i power it on and hold down break until it boots into rommon.
However i have tried this and it does not boot into it. i am using a dell laptop and i have to press the function key to use break so im thinking this may have something to do with it? Has anyone experianced this or know a way around it?

on the cisco site for sure, and probably somewhere in your document, there should be a link that discusses which is the correct key sequence for which application.
let me dig for a sec...
