Setting up QoS for VOIP test on 3560G switch.

ZoomerZoomer Member Posts: 126
We're trying to test 1 VOIP phone, but the installer doesn't want to let us test it until we have QoS set up otherwise the test could go bad. Reading and looking through my CCENT/CCNA notes I haven't found anything on implementing QoS. Can anyone give me any pointers or directions to some good articles online or even syntax commands? Thanks!

QoS is not a CCNA objective, you should look into CCNP ONT material.
There is no place like 127.0.0.1

You might want to check some of the QoS links in the CCVP FAQ -- there is a link in there to
    icon_arrow.gif Catalyst 3560 Switch - Configuring QoS

And in the CVOICE Section there is a QoS configuration example link
icon_exclaim.gif Configure IOS Catalyst Switches to Connect Cisco IP Phones Configuration Example

But you may also want to read the QOS Mistake thread for an idea of the trouble even consultants who should know better can cause....
