Anyone have any suggestions on were to get a switch for home labs? Seen some good pricing out there for some used stuff.

    Shop around on ebay. You dont need much for starters and are really spoiled for choice these days. I once paid 700 dollars for a 2503 router and that was a fair price back then.

    Definitely eBay -- people have been scoring 2950 switches for around $100 lately.

    You should try for 2 2950s, especially if you think you'll go on to the CCNP someday. Your 3rd switch for the CCNA can be a 2924-XL-EN.
