in CCNA & CCENT
Hello,
Im just starting out on my quest to get my ccna. I went to college and got my bachelors in science in computer science, sadly my program lacked just about all networking basics other than databases and their relation to networking. I was just wondering why a switch would need to connect to another switch. Any help would be great.
thanks
mike

Based on your question I suggest downloading and studying the entire PDF before starting with CCNA:

as WM mentioned, check out the basics before attempting the CCNA study. Although you will cover some basics, you will be moved very quickly on to advanced networking topics and cisco vendor technology.
