Is there a good replacement for i-Net+?
I just finished my Net+ and was looking to go with i-Net+, but I guess not now. Anyone know of another cert that is web/e-commerce based??

Plantwiz Mod Posts: 5,057 Modthat's what I'd recommend also. Otherwise, CompTIA doesn't have a specific replacement for that exam. (it was very similar to NET+ when I took it, so I don't see them investing time to create another exam to replace iNet+.) FWIWPlantwiz

'i' before 'e' except after 'c'.... weird? -

CIW-Associate Version 5 is right on par with the I-Net+
Then you can branch down to CIW Site Designer from it and then become a Master CIW Designer

It was redundant.
When I took it, it was practically the same objectives as NET+ and too, I don't think there were that many interested in the certification. It was available for a few years, so plenty of time for those interested in it to have taken the exam. Today there are other exams to specialize in, so focus your efforts on thosePlantwiz

qwertyiop Member Posts: 725 ■■■□□□□□□□I have taken CIW's 1D0-510 Foundations exam and I believe that its a great replacement for CompTIA's I-net exam. It cover a little of everything, even s few questions on security and networking. The only problem is taht I have never seen an emplower looking for someone with a CIW certification.

Bingo.
Get certed in what ever you want to pursue, but realize that the CIW stuff probably isnt a very competitive cert to have.
