Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what would help me pass the test. I took it the other day and failed horribly and it seemed everything I have studied did not exits on the test. I want something that will guarantee me to pass the test.
Thanks

There're no 'gaurantee's' when it comes to tests. But yes, there are expected outcomes. I think you should do the following:
1-Since you mentioned what you prepared wasn't on the exam, check to see whether you prepared for the 640-607 or the 640-801. Objectives have been updated, and the 607 is no longer valid--it's retiered.
2-Make sure you're using the right books. There are 2 books everybody who really want's to pass could read. Todd Lammle's and Wendell Odom's (Although I prefer the former). You don't have to read both of them; just one of them. But if you do, then that's still fine.
3-Try to get some hand's on with routers. You really should get a router to practice with (a real one...I mean. Not a RouterSim).
That's all I can think of when it comes to preparation. I haven't taken the exam yet, so there isn't much I can say about that.
