Yeah ive read this quite abit. if it is an internal drive only i wonder how much the cost of an xbox will go up if any?

They might create a premium model with it built in, but they won't swap it out across the board. The games will always be on DVD, so there's no point in forcing it on people that aren't going to use it.

This thing will have to be dirt cheap if they want people to buy it. I'm not going to pay $200 for an (actually, another) add-on when I can get a PS3 for $400 (which may be less than that by the time this is actually released).

I'll pick up a PS3 when there's a "must have" game for it. I respect the MGS series, but it's not really my type of game. I'm probably going to hold out for a Final Fantasy or God of War. I'm not in dire need of Blu-Ray either. Most new movies suck anyway, and I'd rather just re-watch my Bourne series HD-DVDs

All this talk encouraged me to pick up a PS3 + GTA IV on my lunch break today. I would like to thank the government for the nice $600 tax rebate check I received this morning
