MCSE...where to begin?

jbayne3jbayne3 Member Posts: 45 ■■□□□□□□□□
Greetings All,

I completed the requirements for my MCSA a few months back, and I have taken some time off to concentrate on Grad School. Well, I just had my review, and my boss wants me to persue my 2003 MCSE before jumping to the 2008 track. This really wasn't inline to what I wanted to do, but hey, I'm not exactly complaining to get a MCSE either!

So with that said, I have found that I need to complete the following tests in order to obtain the MCSE:

70-293
70-294
70-297 or 70-298

Does anyone have any advice as to which test I should begin? Any personal opinion or general recommendations would be great.

Thanks!

Jim

Save 297 or 298 for last. Which topics interest you more AD or those covered in 293? how long ago did you take 291? If the material in 291 is still fresh, take 293 first.

    Agreed!

From what I can see there is a reasonable amount of overlap between 291 and 293. I'm working on the 293 at the moment and to be honest I find the material easier than 291 - So far, so good!

I'm on 293 myself. DNS comes back. Also new topics introduced such as Clustering/NLB (which you will hear in Exchange as well).
