Network components

I've just started looking at networking components, is there any helpful hints when starting out how to understand all the different network layouts.

Im really blowned out of my mind right now with all the different terms and networking topologies. Any helpful idea's would be great. Thanks for the awsome site, really love it! I will need it alot

just take one at a time until you are comfortable with each technology and layout. Then when you think you know it inside and out try to explain it to someone or write down your thoughts on paper. if you are right move on to the next one
