in CCNA & CCENT
well i took the exam today
scored an 867
some problems:
as it started and finished the turtorial and i clicked next, it shuts down
so i get the attendant
get started
roll through
the rest of the issues i can't talk about because of NDA
but i missed 5 Qs cause i didn't take my time and read it
and another issue that cost me 4 questions, due to a malfunction
I was F'n pissed and complained about it, the onwer of the place says yeah we know about it, others have complained about it too
i should have stopped the exam and showed them
i am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
thankful i passed
Todd's book is awesome
sooooooooo much info
i nailed 100% on wireless... guess my CWSP paid off

Think of it as not just as an exam, but as an adventure! And think of the stories you can tell while you drink to forget it:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set! -
Don 79 TA Member Posts: 44 ■■□□□□□□□□i am glad the pressure of that exam is over, now i only wish i can get hands on work experience with it
had the oportunities in the past
to bad i can't do that now
there really is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much to learn on that
I passed 8 exams in the last 7 months
ALOT, and i can not emphasis enough, ALOT of studying
luckily i am in the field and few of them were like second nature to me
however, i wish i had some of the new found knowledge in the past.... WOW....
real eye opener
i plan on finally trying some MS exams
70-620 and 622
then the RFID+ exam
i have the books, knowledge already, resources at work to help me, and vouchers paid for
so i am trying to do them, goal is by the end of the year
for the last 7 months i have not had a life for anything. i need a break cause i feel like i will crack
i did:
Network+
i-Net+
Wireless#
CWNA
Project+
Security+
CWSP
CCNA
thankfully i had the CCNA class with a great instructor
hammered me good on subnetting
i need a life now
i also have a job offer in NM
hope it comes through
nice to see a place offer a professional a professional offer
Moto.... if FAWKING me good right now
and it pisses me off
the foucus was to study for these exams and gain knowledge -

Don 79 TA Member Posts: 44 ■■□□□□□□□□thanks for the enouragement
all i can stay it start... don't stop and just keep going
it took me 5 years to do the Net+
since then i have not stopped.
i am lucky i have time to devote to this as well as having the drive
what also helps is i have such a diverse background that made the learning easier and comprehenable too
that goes along way
i will also admit i am partial to Sybex book and wikipedia and google
these have helped me tremendously
however, it's also important to take time out and relax
thats the point i am at now
i have a few more months before the other vouchers expire, so i will do those later...
the other key is to know that just because you have X cert... doesn't make you a demading professional, meaning i have X paper and can get X money.... i like to emphasize that it gives me the broad knowledge to back up my experience, or knowledge to use towards new experiences.
after these vouchers are used, and we relocate and settle down, i want to get a BA/BS or masters, as they have the best value... although at my age... time is a ticking
i've tried to coach and help the guys at work, and said lets do this together.... drinking seems to be more important... one day it will catch up to them and i feel sorry for them
