need advice on career track
Hi guys,
I’m new to this forum, and im in need of some serious career tracking advice. I’ve been in the IT field for 2 years now, and so far all I’ve been is a HD support and also desk side. I feel that IT is just very broad and i decided or better say...started thinking about specializing myself in something like Database applications. I am conscious i don’t have many years of experience in the field, so that is why i need some help/advice. My main question is, what steps should i take to get started in a specific DBA field such as SQL? Hope someone can direct me to the right direction.

Also, just pick up an introductory-level SQL book and start learning the basics.
