3.5mm splitter from PC soundcard to Headphones & Speaker

I have got two types i have purchased and both types are too chunky to put in at the back of the soundcard together. I have surroundsound headset and speakers and need all 3 ports to be connected at same time. Its annoying I can't do this!

Anyone know of any switches or splitters that are affordable and will do this? Anyone had the same issue before and created your own cables?

Maybe use an extender cable and then use the splitter?

Yea, that's what I was thinking. I couldn't find one less than 5 ft though. I'm sure you could just hack 4ft out of it and get it back together.
