Hi
Just come back from the exam...here is my score

Describe the operation of data network 100%
Implement a small switched network 100%
Implement an IP addressing scheme and IP services to meet network requirements for a small.. 100%
Implement a small routed network 95%
Explain and select the appropriate administrative tasks required for a WLAN 100%
Identify security threats to a network and describe general methods to mitigate those thre.. 100%
Implement and verify WAN links 100%

got 987 points out of 1000

I've been studyng for 2 months...my study material
ccent/ccna icnd1(Wndell Odom)----read it 2 times
cbt nuggets videos for CCENT----watched 2 times (I feel like Jeremy Cioara is my friend
, spend more time with him then with my girlfriend)
train signal videos for CCENT----watched 2 times
www.subnettingquestions.com ----God knows how meny, started to subnet everything I see (phone numbers, people, food :D:D
CCNA Network Visualizer 5.0

This is my first exam, my first certification, and I think that I was overprepared. In my country it's very expensive to take the exam because the avarage sallery is 400$, and I'm glad that I passed the first time.

What to say to people that will take the exam? Be good in subnetting and read and watch all that you can find...

This page was very helpful for me and I want to thank you all...

and now to ICND2 :)

both are very good but I liked CBT Nuggets more because of the theacher(he is somtimes so funny, in one point he says ''what is better then go on friday night and ping all kind of addresses'' he he) and because he writes and drows on the board while he's talking. So it is much easier to folow and much intersting....

thank you for your's congrats :D

I know how you feel about spending money on the exam. I know I could have taken the exam maybe a month or two previous to the date when I took it. Its just I don't want to schedule the test, take it then fail. My girlfriend really jumped my $h!T3 about just scheduling it so I would get my butt in gear. To me once I scheduled it I really buckled down, and even if you freak out you can reschedule the exam up to 24 hours prior to taking it.

I passed the CCENT on Cinco de Mayo, May 5th, with an 896. Like I said in a previous post I know I'm way better than that score I got but alas when they don't allow you to use certain show commands to figure things out you can get stuck.

Good luck on the 816, I'm scheduling mine for early July.

    Congrate on the pass too.
