Endless reboots with Windows XP SP3

In case anyone is having the endless reboots problem with Windows XP SP3, there is an unofficial fix. The problem is with some computers with an AMD CPU that are loading an Intel device driver at startup. The problem is reported on some HP computer with an AMD CPU and pre-installed Windows. The disk image used to create the computers was itself created on an Intel CPU computer.

I've heard of that too, isn't that the one where it reboots if you're using the factory image?
    IT guy since 12/00

Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
    Working on: RHCE/Ansible
Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...
