Scratch Paper on exam?

bluesjunior23bluesjunior23 Member Posts: 12 ■□□□□□□□□□
Hey guys,

I am concerned that when i go to take my CCNA that i will not be permitted to use an adequate amount of scratch paper. When i practice subnet problems i tend to use alot of paper. How much scratch paper do they give you for the exam? Forgive me if this question is asking for to much info regarding the test...

thanks!

Just wait until you can do it all in your head and then you won't have to worry about paper icon_wink.gif .

I didn't get any scratch paper given to me, but I didn't ask for any though.

They will not give you scratch paper but they will give one dry erase board and a marker. It really does help when you can do them in your head though.

So its possible to get to a point where you can do all of the VLSM questions in your head? I can do the basic ranges in my head, but i have trouble keeping track when they give you six different subnets and want you to see if any of them overlap; for example. I guess i need to keep practicing!
