This was my first attempt at any certification. I used Testout's package and the information/practice tests here. Wasn't as bad as I thought it might be, I was expecting much worse. Just took my time. Linux+ is next.

I started second to the last week of April with the testout package, pushed thru that fairly quick (2 weeks). Then started with the other sources up until around last week. After the first 10 or 15 questions I knew I had it, just needed to take thing slow, read the questions carefully and pick the right answer. There were maybe 7 or 8 questions that I went back for review on.
I will agree with what others have said here that you do need to look at the information from more than one point of view. If I had just used the Testout materials, I don't think I would have done as well. -
