Mirrored Volumes

is it true that the mirrored volumes work even on FAT partition?

No. It will only work with NTFS partitions.

Actually I will disagree with that. Basic or dynamic disks are independent of the file system residing upon them. So yes you could create a mirrored volume and format it with FAT32.
