Fat and Fat 32
banderas1978
Hi,
As I know, Fat and Fat32 do not support Offline Files, Compression, Encryption and Security Permissions. Am I missing something? Anything else you can think of?
Thanks,
Banderas

there are many fat types such as FAT12 (Floppy disks) FAT16 (DOS) Fat32 (Windows)
im not sure on this but, i beilieve FAT32 has a maximum of 32GB partitions whereas NTFS can go up to 127 terra bytes?
as i said not sure so check that out.

FAT32 is limited to 32GB only if formatted with XP (unless you use 3rd party soft).

Figured I'd ask here, but how long can names be for dynamic volumes? 11?

Looks like FAT32 = 11 characters (all uppercase), NTFS = 32 characters (mixed case). Dynamic vs. basic doesn't seem to matter.
