I just passed my 70-290 with a score of 928.
I have my 70-270 and the 2 comptias (A+ and Network+)
I only have 1 pc at home so running a virtual lab etc... can be difficult.
What exam (on track for mcse 2003) should I study for next which is the most passable with book studying as well as practice tests?
I know with the 70-291 ill have mcsa...

undomiel Member Posts: 2,818I would recommend just staying on track and pulling through for that MCSA with the 291. VMs will work though it will make it slow and difficult. Just make sure to get your reading done for the 291 as well.
Pretty much everything requires at least some lab time especially if you don't get it out on the field.Jumping on the IT blogging band wagon -- http://www.jefferyland.com/ -
Slowhand Mod Posts: 5,161 ModYup, I can recommend going for 70-291 and then right into 70-293 as soon as possible. Right now, I'm learning that I should have done that very thing back in 2006, when I passed 70-291. Re-learning the details of topics I covered two years ago is more than a little bruise on the ol' ego, and it's taking more time than I'd like to spend on review before going on to new stuff.

ive heard many times 291 lays the groundwork for the rest of the MCSE exams. So yea, im in the middle of the 291/293 transition. However, I'm finding myself being 'lazy' and haven't hit the 293 campaign as hard as I would like to yet.**** ARE FOR CHUMPS! Don't be a chump! Validate your material with certguard.com search engine
