Well I passed. I was more than a half an hour late starting, because the exam was taking a long time to download. At one point they were telling me that it probably wouldn't work, and to reschedule, but I stayed, and it finally downloaded.
There were a few weird questions, but it was mostly a fair exam. The weird ones, I could easly rule out at least 2 of the 4 or 5 potential answers. The transcender and MSpress questions are very accurate. Transcender are more difficult than the exam, MSpress are easier IMO.
The 271 exam in particular made this one not too difficult. Also, I have a good bit of experience of supporting XP and 2000 on a big domain.
Score: 968. Can't believe it. I got 945 in 272, and thought that was good.

I am undecided whether 290 or 291 will be next. What is the more common order to do them?
My MCDST covers the elective for MCSA, but I want to do the SQL server elective anyway. -

I would go with 290 first. Look at objectives and see for yourself which one makes more sense for you to take first.Going for:N+, MCSA/MCSE. -

There are good practical reasons to follow bogdan5's advice. Many of the objectives for the 270 and 290 are similar. Server 2003 and Win XP share a common core of code so you would expect that. Since this these things are probably still fresh in your mind I would go for the 290. With a mega score like you got on XP I would give myself about a week, two at the most, for preping for the 290. I am assuming you have some experience using the OS when I say that. I personally never leave much time between related tests as I don't feel the extra study really does any good. Use a good test prep and do labs nased on questions you get wrong or don't fully understand.
Give yourself plenty of time on the 291, though. Only exam that kicked my @$$. I have gotten some low scores on a few tests, that's the only one I ever failed, though.
