70-291 ... passed

zuczekzuczek Member Posts: 7 ■□□□□□□□□□
Well, I wrote the 290 a couple of weeks ago. I got 915 on that one. I figured that I would do the 291 as the 290 wasn't that bad.

This one was BAD! I was sure that I was not going to pass but barely scraped through with 715. I got 5 simulations... and pretty much a bit of everything.

I have to write the 270 now to get the MCSA.

How do I let Microsoft know that I have S+ or N+ for credit towards the MCSA?

    Congrats! A pass is a pass. :)

Have a look at this thread for more info on using CompTIA certs for your MCSA:

You can use A+ and Netwok+ as an MCSA elective, or Security+ on its own for either the MCSA or MCSE elective. It doesn't look like Server+ is applicable.

5 sims? I'm jealous! I wish I had 5 sims on mine. I love the sims on exams, they are so free points. Congratulations on your pass! A pass is a pass never ye forget.

What did you use to study as for as materials as far as books are concerned.
I just finished Linux+ so now its time to complete MCSA.
Don't tell co-workers your going for a Cert that they don't have. They may think your trying to take their job.
