What Motivates You to Study?

Just wondering what others have as motivation. I know after studying for a while and failing a test makes your motivation level drop.

A range of things keeps me motivated. Career progression (climbing the career ladder), career improvement/development (increased wages in same job, increase job satisfaction, etc) & personal interest.

I see certs as trophies acquired through hard work. Looks good on your resume and the actual studying will make you a better tech and improve your skills.
