It's also hard for me to put a number to my study time. Outside of work I put in maybe a couple of hours each week for the 291, an hour each week for the 290, and an hour for the 270. Maybe two hours. But that's outside of work. Inside of work could be counted as study time for each one as I would always be using some skills from each exam. Plus I would actually do some studying on breaks and in between projects or at slow points in projects. But that was rather sporadic. But either way one could say that I did a horrible job of putting hours into study for the exams, or that I put in a huge number of hours for the exams. Really the only way you'll know what is enough is if you're learning the material. If you study for a week and you evaluate yourself and say that you're no closer to being ready for the exam than at the beginning of the week then you may need to change something. It is probably best not to put a time limit on things, just evaluate yourself each week and schedule when you feel that you're ready for things. Though of course for me personally scheduling the test is what helps push me. I'm rather deadline oriented.
Put in another DC for your lab and you should be set. If it turns out your machine can't handle an extra DC then consider ditching the member server or workstation so that you can squeeze that second DC in. It will definitely help things.Jumping on the IT blogging band wagon -- http://www.jefferyland.com/ -

I have read on this forum that there's a lot of overlap between the two tests, so hopefully should have these two tests out of the way before the end of September. This deadline might seem fairly relaxed to some people but I dont want to burn myself out studying for certs. Bits of paper, after all!
