am i looking at the requirements correctly? if you do the
70-210
70-215
70-216
70-217
one of the mcse design electives
70-228
70-229

then you'll end up with both the mcse and mcdba? does anyone have experience with this? would you recommend it? i'm trying to figure out which direction i want to go and this seems like an appealing one.

then you could add the 70-292 and 70-296 for the win2k3 mcse as well. hmm, it looks like i've got some work to do. please feel free to comment on what is the best mcse configuration. thanks for any advice.

    70-210 or 270
    70-215
    70-218
    70-216 -> MCSA 2000
    70-217
    70-219 or 220 or 221 or 226 or 297 or 298
    70-228 -> MCSE 2000
    70-229 -> MCDBA

    70-292 -> MCSA 2003
    70-296 -> MCSE 2003

    If MCSA: Security had been certified, the upgrade
    requires additionally 70-299

    If MCSA:Messaging had been certified, the upgrade
    requires additionally 70-284

    If MCSE: Security had been certified, the upgrade
    requires additionally 70-298 and 70-299

    If MCSE:Messaging had been certified, the upgrade
    requires additionally 70-284 and 70-285

    The MCSA,MCSE,MCDBA combination is certainly appealing (although not an easy track). You should consider it if you'd like to kill 3 certifications with 7 exams.
