Not that I know, but personally I would think the CCNA will do you better with jobs and salaries down the road.

If you think you are ready take the CCNA, only one test instead of two.
If you fail, you will know what you need to study for the retake.

    How different is 640 - 801 from 640-802 ???

Are the Questions listed on the practices test a good representation ???

801 is the old exam and 802 is the current exam.

The practice questions (depending on the source) can give you a good idea of your weak areas and what you need to study more.

The best thing to do is to check out Cisco's CCNA and CCENT pages to find out more. Since the CCENT (ICND1) is one of the two exams required for CCNA, (the other being ICND2,) it might make more sense to do the two-part CCNA path rather than the stand-alone 640-802 exam.

Basically, if you do the two-test path to CCNA, you get both it and the CCENT. If you do the single exam, you get only the CCNA.
