What Certs for working on Cell Phone Networks?

Was just wondering what certs are out there that validate knowledge in Cell Phone Networks?

Never seen any but you should probably check the various cell site manufacturers like Ericsson and Nokia.

I would think that would be more along the lines of service providers like Verizon, T-Mobile, at&t et al.

Well what is funny is I work as a contractor doing desktop support for AT&T. In all my time working I have never seen any equipment, PERIOD, that deals with Cell Technology. I've been into every other Central Office in the Northern part of the state of which I work there is nothing. Just plain old twisted pairs coming into the office and other equipment I know nothing about, well besides DSLAMs and such but even the local techs at the COs don't touch that equipment. I also work with the engineers and all they work with is Land communication lines, no wireless in there anywhere.

My question is, who makes the Cell Technology Equipment? The equipment that the Cell providers purchase and then install. Just like a Local ISP will buy equipment from company XYZ. And then the ISP will hire someone who is certified in that technology like Cisco et al.
