Network+
Since when was the Net+ a novell cert -_-
pLuhhmm
Well I took the network+ exam and got a 489 short by a few ):, but what got me was that there was prolly 90% topics on novell/unix/apple. personally I think I should have passed but I think my nerves got to me considering the objectives I missed... If I would have done much better in 1&2 I would have passed, I plan on taking it again and passing.

I'd have to agree. Personally I think Network+ is harder than some Microsoft exams (I can speak for 70-270 and 70-290 specifically) due to the fact that Network+ is SO broad. Well, at least you've seen the test now. Concentrate on your weak areas.
Here's some free material if you haven't yet used...I'd try to study for 15-30 mins each day and retest in another 3 weeks or so.
1) Technotes from this site.

2) Cramsession free study guides.

Good luck next time around.

I recently took the Network+ Exam a few months ago. I was also hit with a bunch of Novell and apple questions. I was aware that this was the case though since i was a member of this forum. After i knew what other people had gotten hit with i focused on those topics before the exam.
Its a extremely broad exam and is to be expected.
