I love the prospect of the owners of a 727 not being capable of affording the maintenance costs. I suppose it belongs to an airline that tanked.

Yeah some Cambodian airline that went under last year they think.

It's not so much the maintenance fees as the "parking fees", all airports charge them to planes at a gate (way higher) and those parked on the airport grounds. They can range from a few bucks a month to park a plane in Mojave, CA to the usual thousands to tens of thousands of dollars a day at the busiest airports.

Since this is Vietnam we'll say 10,000 Dongs a day (that's the Vietnamese currency) - or about US$0.60/day.
