in Windows XP Professional
Passed with 836 today

was surprised by my score, was expecting to either scrape a pass or fail by one or two questions.

Used transcender practice tests (these rule !), sybex and measure up books

My last minute advice would be study back ups and TS

a week or so off and then onto 291. But now im off to get some much needed sleep....ZZzzz

    oh and as always the forums here and the tech notes aswell, browsing old questions people have posted can answer some questions that you didnt know you were weak on.

    Can I ask why your going from 270 to 291, whilst missing the 290??

    Most struggle with the 291 even with the knowledge of the 290 let alone without icon_confused.gif

    First, congrats on the pass.

    Its encouraging to hear you used Transcender. I am also studying with Transcender and I like the practice questions a lot. I feel they more closely resemble the actual exam (I failed with a 630) than the measure up questions which I felt were overly difficult and confusing.

    Did you get any questions on dial up modems? I got hit with a few of those which I didnt expect in my exam and I felt it really did me in.
