Question about 6.0

I'm pretty comfortable with callmanager 4.X
So I decided to play around with 6.0 on my vmware server.
I want to add an Ip communicator and for some reason it is not registering. When I go to the CCMadmin page it doesn't give me a place to add the mac address for the IP communicator like CCM ver 4. it only asks for device name.
Any help will be appreciated.

Is this the Ipcommunicator or Cisco Unified Personal Communicator or Cisco Unified Mobile Communicator.
( reason being I usally end up calling all of the IP communicator...)
but until then read this ... hope it helps

You should use the MAC address of the NIC for the device name. The only easy day was yesterday! -

I'd guess since it's on VMWare it's not a production box (TAC won't support it) and he's probably using the 50 starter licenses. The only easy day was yesterday!
