Question about 6.0

mysql1988mysql1988 Member Posts: 115
I'm pretty comfortable with callmanager 4.X

So I decided to play around with 6.0 on my vmware server.
I want to add an Ip communicator and for some reason it is not registering. When I go to the CCMadmin page it doesn't give me a place to add the mac address for the IP communicator like CCM ver 4. it only asks for device name.

Any help will be appreciated.

If you can wait till this weekend... I will install and test... I have been running most of my labs off of 4.x simply for testing...And I haven't even tryed to get a communicator up and running...??

Is this the Ipcommunicator or Cisco Unified Personal Communicator or Cisco Unified Mobile Communicator.

( reason being I usally end up calling all of the IP communicator...)

but until then read this ... hope it helps

I'd guess since it's on VMWare it's not a production box (TAC won't support it) and he's probably using the 50 starter licenses.
